Andy Haynes became a full member of the PPBB in summer 2004. He began learning the trombone whilst at school in Northamptonshire and went on to play for his county in championship-winning concert and big bands. After completing a degree in International Business & French at Aston University (and setting up his own jazz/funk group) he moved to North London, working as a management consultant by day and playing in various bands at night. Andy plays both tenor and bass trombone with the PPBB.
